I took it upon myself to search for an acupuncture doctor in my community who was respected, compassionate, and knowledgeable in the field of acupuncture. I thank good Lord every day for giving me the courage to seek out treatment other than managing my pain through medication alone.
I have had approximately 15 treatments and I feel 100% better. My right thumb was beginning to look deformed and the agonizing pain was sometimes unbearable. To alleviate some of the pain in my fingers I had to completely change my writing skills. I also extended the treatment to my thumb joint nearest the wrist; where a large knot resembling a small egg had develop which ached continuously. I had though many time that I had a handicap with both of my hands. I was unable to hold or carry anything that was slightly heavy and twisting off a jar lid was impossible. I wish that I would have taken photographs of my hands before I began acupuncture treatments.
Both of my hands feel and look so much better than they have in such a long time. I’m now able to bend my right thumb while grasping a pen for writing. My left thumb now has a knot as big as a pea, it has taken time and patients but the outcome has been successful. At least I haven’t had a cortisone injection since I’ve been undergoing acupuncture treatment. My back pain has improved, the pain that I have now is minimal and livable, thanks to my doctor Frank Om.”
